What to expect
We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer specialized in server-side software and backend development..
You will join an expert team building server-side systems that process millions of financial quotes daily and billions of requests. The ideal candidate is passionate about building world-class software and has a track record of success in creating highly scalable systems. You will need strong software engineering skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and experience accepting and giving meaningful feedback on technical designs and pull requests.
What you’ll do
- Develop high-loaded backend applications
- Participate in the design of the internal architecture of applications
- Review code
- Unit test development
- Elaborate on metrics in the application for further setting up monitoring and alerting
- Support for testing completed tasks
- Participate in architectural decision making
- Comply with established deadlines
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years of Golang development experience
- Experience in developing multithreaded applications
- Experience in developing web services (REST, gRPC, WebSocket)
- Experience with relational databases (primarily postgresql)
- Experience with a message broker (predominantly kafka)
- Experience with unix systems
