What to expect
As Legal Counsel for our AMER operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our business by providing expert legal advice and guidance on various matters.
You'll work closely with our management team and various departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations while mitigating legal risks and protecting the company's interests.
What you’ll do
- Provide legal counsel on a broad range of issues, including contracts, employment law, intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, suppliers, partners, and other third parties.
- Develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and best practices to promote compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel on specialized legal matters, as needed.
- Assist in the management and resolution of legal disputes and litigation.
- Monitor and analyze relevant legal and regulatory developments and advise the company on potential impacts and recommended actions.
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on legal and compliance matters.
What you’ll bring
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and an active member in good standing with a US state bar.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, either in-house or at a reputable law firm.
- Strong knowledge of US laws and regulations applicable to technology companies, including contracts, employment, intellectual property, data privacy, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to provide practical legal advice that balances legal risks and business objectives.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
